Infections in the oral cavity often occur if there is inflammation in a dental nerve or if a root treatment has not been successful.
The signs are dazzling, spontaneous pain, pain when chewing / knocking a tooth, swelling and warming in the soft tissue for a tooth. Sometimes the inflammation / pussy finds a way out and the swelling decreases and the pain decreases, but the problem is only resolved when the cause is treated. One should take it very seriously if there is inflammation in the oral cavity, as there is sometimes a risk of pus drainage to the carcinoma and may cause sepsis (blood poisoning).
